Beethoven & Bruckner
The exhilarating Stephen Hough returns to the Brangwyn Hall for our season finale, alongside Beethoven’s third piano concerto – one of Thomas Søndergård’s favourite works. Stephen’s performances have gained a glowing reputation for brilliance and elegance, and we eagerly await his visit. We complete the season with Bruckner’s intense final symphony, his eighth. Bruckner didn’t live to complete his ninth symphony, but in his intense and tumultuous eighth he wrote some of his most breathtaking music.
