Join us on November 5th as we make a welcome return to St Helen’s Ground for a spectacular ’Night at the Movies’ themed fireworks display!
Gates open at 5pm with a warm movie themed welcome from Penclawdd Brass Band. Pre-show entertainment will begin at 5.30pm and will feature glow entertainers, movie-themed attractions and performances and walkabout acts.
Plenty of your favourite movie characters will be paying us a visit including Barbie, Spider-Man, Batman and his Batmobile, Wonder Woman and Star Wars heroes like Boba Fett and Darth Vader. Also keep an eye out for some Jurassic Park residents!
Local hero Kev Johns will be there as fireworks’ cheerleader-in-chief and there will also be Hollywood-style searchlights illuminating the skyline on what is sure to be a night to remember!
At 7:00pm, we’ll light up the sky with a stunning fireworks display in time to music from the movies.
Food, drink and movie theatre style snacks will be available to purchase in the ground from a selection of on-site food-vendors.

There will be an accessible viewing area at St Helen’s which will have its own disabled toilet (no need to pre-book).
Other disabled toilets will also be available in the ground.
A limited amount of free disabled parking is available at Victoria Park via the entrance on Francis Street – please show your blue badge to access this space.

Please note that whilst flat, the ground at St Helen’s is gravel or grass so may be more challenging for wheelchair users.
