Food and Drink

Visit Swansea Bay for fresh, delicious Gower produce and fine restaurant dining

Gower's fertile farmland and coastal waters support traditional food producers and family-run farms. Celebrated local produce includes uniquely-flavoured Llanrhidian salt-marsh lamb, Welsh Black Beef, locally harvested laverbread, fish and shellfish from local fishermen's boats, fruits and vegetables. And of course, we're famous for our cockles, hand-gathered from the sands of Gower since Roman times.

Eating Out in Swansea Bay

Swansea, Mumbles and Gower are home to a thriving restaurant scene, offering menus which range from Modern Welsh to Japanese.

Many of our restaurants, cafés and gastropubs take a real pride in sourcing local food and drink, including meats, seafood, vegetables, real ale and cider, all from the Swansea Bay and Gower area.

Whether you want to drink in the seaside atmosphere, enjoy our vibrant café quarter, or relax in a quiet countryside gastropub, use our restaurant search to help find the ideal venue.
