Watersports

With the second greatest tidal range in the world and some of the finest surfing beaches in the UK, watersports are a speciality here...

Gower Surfing

Gower is famous for its first-rate surfing - The Guardian lists Llangennith among its '10 Classic Surfing Beaches' and 'Top 10 UK Surf Spots', and also recommends Gower as one of the best places to learn to surf.  Langland and Caswell Bays, both just a few minutes drive from Mumbles, also offer superb surfing.

You can even surf indoors...

Swansea's LC Leisure Complex and Waterpark houses the BoardRider standing surf machine. You're guaranteed to catch a wave at the LC, no matter what the conditions are like out there.

Other watersports

Swansea Bay's not just a surfing mecca, it also offers fantastic sailing, kitesurfing, diving, canoeing, coasteering, canoeing, sailing, powerboating, paddleboarding, windsurfing, waterskiing, and the latest trend - wakeboarding coming soon to Swansea Bay!
