Wales National Children's Day raised £2,500 for Ty Hafan Children's Hospice.

The Ty Hafan Team at the LC
What a day at LC as hundreds of children celebrated Wales's National Children's Day on 9th October!
The day of play was set up by the LC to acknowledge the importance of children in our society and to promote giving time to children in order to enhance all aspects of their lives.
The fun event also raised cash for Ty Hafan Children's Hospice and organisers were delighted to report that they managed to raise £2,500 this year.
LC marketing manager Nic Beggs said: 'We hope we've encouraged parents to spend more time with their children.'
The LC welcomed over 2,260 visitors to the event.
For just £6, all the LC activities were open to enjoy plus face painting, arts and crafts, Plantasia's Creepy Crawly show, dance and drama workshops with Mark Jermin Stage School, penalty shootouts with the Swan's, the Osprey's inflatable village of fun and circus skills.
Stacey Brewster from Ty Hafan said: 'We are delighted to have been picked as the charity again and it's great to get down to swansea and spread the word of Ty Hafan'.
Well done LC!
