Two of the most popular names in the food and drink industry will be setting up shop in Swansea's new bus station. Costa Coffee and Greggs have both signed up to operate retail units within the new multi-million pound transport facility which opened last December.

Russell Gower, Greggs' retail operations manager for South Wales, said: "We are delighted to be opening our new shop in Swansea bus station within the next few weeks. The location of the new outlet means it is ideally placed to serve the busy commuters as they make their way to the main shopping areas or on their way to work."

More than £10 million of funding was provided to create the passenger transport hub, which features 20 bus bays, three coach stands, a modern passenger waiting area and an information desk. Bus station manager Richard Stafford said: "The new bus station is proving a great success. There has been excellent feedback from passengers coming to Swansea since the opening last year. The addition of the retail outlets will make passengers' visit an even more welcoming experience."
