Wales Coast Path

Facilities

Family friendly Dogs allowed all year

The Wales Coast Path has been developed by the Welsh Government in partnership with Natural Resources Wales (incorporating the former Countryside Council for Wales), sixteen local authorities and two National Parks. In addition to funding from the Welsh Government and the coastal local authorities of approximately £2 million per year, the European Regional Development Fund allocated nearly £4 million over four years in support of the project.

The Welsh coastline has many contrasts and really does offer something for everyone. From cliff top strolls to estuarine wanders, picturesque fishing villages to vibrant cities, industrial heritage to unconquered castles, desolate windswept beaches to bustling seasides. The Wales Coast Path not only takes you through the Welsh landscape, it takes you through its heritage and its communities.

What can you do? How about the following to whet your appetite...
Go walking,
Hop on your bike,
Tread the beaches,
Wildlife watching,
Discover the heritage and culture,
And so much more!
