C 12th August 2015

With the Barclays Premier League season now well under way, fans across the country are busy planning their trips, loyally following their teams up and down the country.  If you’re looking for a weekend of entertainment rather than just 90 minutes, then Swansea is a fixture that should be high on your visit list!

To save you the hassle we’ve come up with an activity plan for your Swansea Bay Premier Weekender….

Saturday Morning

After shaking off the rigours of your working week with a much deserved lay in, take a stroll along the Prom to Mumbles and enjoy elevenses at Verdi’s, a family run Café and Ice Cream Parlour with a reputation for authentic Italian flavour. We’d recommend their tea cakes and caramel cappuccino as the perfect accompaniment to the view across Swansea Bay.

Afternoon

Rested and recharged? It’s time to explore.  Choose from one of our (many) picturesque beaches. We’ve helped make this difficult choice a bit easier with our 7 Days, 7 beaches blog.  But if you can only make it to one Bay, then we recommend a drive through Gower to Worm’s Head and the award winning Rhossili Bay Beach for views that will take your breath away.  Take a walk down to the long golden sands of the Bay and take in that fresh Atlantic Sea Air.
