Make Swansea Bay your Happy Place in 2022!

Plan your future short break or holiday, and enjoy some great views (from the comfort of your room!). Here are our top picks of places to stay with a view you’ll be dreaming about for years to come!

  1.  Worm’s Head Hotel

Located in Rhossili, overlooking the award winning Rhossili Bay, rooms with a view don’t get much better than this! Guests can choose to stay in the Cliff, Bay or Ocean wings all of which boast spectacular views of Worms Head, Rhossili Bay and the Rhossili Downs. Then head to the Bar Helvetia, the Bay lounge and on the Bay terrace (did we mention the amazing views?) and choose from a range local and Welsh delicacies such as Welsh Rarebit, local Sea Bass and seasonal Gower salt marsh Lamb.

2.  Oxwich Bay Hotel

Wake up in one of the Oxwich Bay’s luxury sea view rooms and watch the sunrise over the beautiful Oxwich Bay.  Just a stone’s throw from the beach, you can have a paddle before breakfast, then try a new watersport and have a walk along the coast path in the afternoon – and all without reaching for your car keys!

4. Swansea Marriott Hotel

Set in the bustling Maritime Quarter with sweeping views across Swansea Bay towards Mumbles or Swansea Marina, Swansea’s Marriott Hotel offers visitors a quality experience with the added benefit of being in walking distance of the beach, maritime quarter and the city’s attractions – including the brand new Swansea Arena opening in spring 2022!

5.  Three Cliffs Bay Holiday Park

Pitch up, drive up (in your own van) or just turn up and settle down in one of the ready pitched Glamping yurts and enjoy the amazing views over Three Cliffs Bay! The facilities are amazing too – the amenity block is split into 20 ensuite style bathrooms with underfloor heating and there’s an onsite shop selling everything from fresh bread to BBQ hampers. Everything you need for a perfect break away! Open April – October.

6.  Daisy’s Fisherman’s Cottage

Whether you’re sitting on the front deck with a glass of wine in hand (enjoy a complimentary bottle of wine per booking!) or in the living room in front of the roaring fire, you can enjoy stunning views across Swansea Bay and Mumbles. The cottage is just a minute’s walk from Mumbles seafront, close to walking routes and just a short distance from Mumbles’ quirky art and craft galleries, trendy surf shops and a range of restaurants with….yes you’ve guessed it…amazing coastal views!

7.  Clyne Farm Cottages

Clyne Farm Centre is a converted dairy farm overlooking the broad sweep of Swansea Bay with 9 rustic cottages on the main farm site all located around a central courtyard, enjoying a mixture of coastal and woodland views. Offering peace and quiet, yet only a short drive from Swansea, Mumbles, and the beautiful Gower Peninsula, Clyne Farm Cottages also offer a range of activities from horse riding and archery to indoor climbing and Challenge Valley ‘The Muddiest Assault Course in the World!’.

8.  Meridian Quay Apartments

With breath-taking views across Swansea Bay and Mumbles, Meridian Quay apartments offer all the comforts of your own home with the added benefits you would expect from a luxury hotel, such as regular maid service and clean linen, plus you will be in the perfect location to explore the city of Swansea, the picturesque seaside village of Mumbles and the UK’s first Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty, the Gower Peninsula.
