Legendary Bus Journeys in Gower

C 19th May 2017

The Gower Explorer bus is a great way to see Gower in all its glory, its bays, beaches, fantastic coastline, heritage and experience its legends.

The iconic Gower Coast Path is best reached using local buses; they link with the path at many points in Gower and are a better way to do linear walks. That way, you save time, effort and expense:

• You don’t have to take two cars, one for each end of the walk
• You can park at one end, take the bus and walk back to your car
• Better still, do it all by bus – to the start point – back from the end point

There are good value tickets for all itineraries, which you can buy on the bus, offering unlimited travel for a day:

• £4.20 for a First Day Swansea City valid on all First services to Mumbles and service 14 to Bishopston & Pennard Cliffs
• £5.00 for a Gower Day Rider valid only on services 114-119*
• £5.50 for an Explore Gower valid on all Mumbles and Gower bus services
• Just £3.50 for a West Gower off-peak valid on services 114-119 west of Killay between 08.45 and 16.30 hours

If you’re coming into the area by train, buy an ‘Explore Gower’ ticket offering unlimited travel in Swansea city, Mumbles and Gower when you buy your train ticket to Swansea

• £5.40 for one day
• £13.00 for short breaks or long weekends (3 days validity)

*16 years and under; and Family tickets available on these offers
