Swansea International Jazz Festival 2024
15 - 17 June

Olly Murs has confirmed his plans for shows in 2021and summer 2022. Previously bought tickets remain valid for the rescheduled dates, which aim to put a smile back on everyone’s face when he will perform his biggest hits, including tracks from his recently certified triple platinum album ‘Never Been Better’.

“I’m just so happy I still get to go on tour across the UK this summer after the year we’ve had!” Olly says. “We’ve worked hard to put on as many shows as we can this year & next, and I can’t wait to get back out and bring some positivity and fun on stage to my fans. The thought of performing with my band, working with my crew, and seeing my fans is getting me through lockdown, so roll on the summer!”

2020 was a busy year for Olly: he captained England in last year’s Soccer Aid and retained his crown as winning judge on his third series of The Voice with 18 year-old Blessing Chitapa. He’s currently gracing our screens every Saturday night on the new series of The Voice, and he’s aiming for a hat trick.

In lockdown, he also managed an impressive body transformation, working closely with personal trainer Rob Solly, and sharing his fitness routine exclusively with Men’s Health.

Robert Francis-Davies, Swansea Council’s Cabinet Member for Investment, Regeneration and Tourism, said: “Swansea Council is delighted to be working with DEPOT Live and to be able to announce this good news today.

Singleton Park is a fantastic location for live, outdoor music events and these are always well attended by Swansea residents as well visitors from further afield. The current pandemic has been a devastating blow to the events sector which has not even started to return to business yet.  The hospitality sector has been able to re-open but within constrained operating circumstances in line with government guidelines, but has now suffered once again, by local lockdowns.

The safety of our residents is paramount and any programme of activities will need to be in accordance with Government guidelines at the time.  However, we are all looking forward, optimistically to next year when hopefully the hospitality and events sectors will be on the path to recovery. Having the Depot Live bringing Olly Murs to Swansea is a great asset to our recovery plan which includes an exciting events programme for next year.  This will be a tremendous boost for our residents, tourism businesses and for welcoming our visitors back to Swansea once again.

We look forward to welcoming Olly Murs back to Swansea in 2021”

Olly Murs is being brought to the city by DEPOT Live, the live-events arm of the DEPOT brand.
