October half term has passed, the clocks have changed and the nights are drawing in, so you know what that means – fireworks and the festive season are just around the corner!
There’s a packed November in store for Swansea, including the return of our annual Fireworks Display and our Christmas Parade, as well as other festive favourites. So read on to take a look at what’s coming up this month!
Thursday 11th November, Castle Square
Join us in Castle Square from 10.30am – 12pm on Thursday 11th November for our annual Silence in the Square event, where Swansea commemorates Armistice Day and reflects on the sacrifices made by our Servicemen and Servicewomen. A two minute silence will take place at 11am.
Friday 12th November, Swansea Bay
Join us on Swansea Bay on Friday 12th November from 6pm for our free fireworks display! This year’s spectacular display will be held on Swansea beach, with food and drink stalls open from 6pm and the fireworks launch at 7pm.

Museum Park will be transformed into Waterfront Winterland for the 2021 festive period with everyone’s favourite attractions – including a new and improved Alpine Village, more funfair attractions, and a brand new ice walk as well as the popular covered ice rink. Brought to you by Sayers Events and A2H Live, in partnership with Swansea Council.

The Swansea Christmas Parade is back on Sunday 21st November, with Santa arriving to switch on the Christmas lights and mark the start of the festive season! Get ready for marching bands, magical floats, light up characters, inflatables and more!
Friday 26th November – Tuesday 21st December
Swansea Christmas Market returns to the city centre this festive period, full of talented crafters, traditional traders and delicious street food venders. The perfect place to pick up a gift for that special someone and enjoy some tasty hot food and drink while shopping!
Christmas is the most magical time of the year, and the Quadrant is determined to bring back the magic this festive season! Swansea’s main shopping centre is proud to be home to national and independent stores which are packed with gifts to get hearts racing and wrapping paper flying on Christmas morning.
