Croeso – 25 and 26 February

We celebrate all things Welsh ahead of St David’s Day with Croeso, a two-day festival featuring the best of local Welsh culture.

Head to Swansea’s city centre on Friday 25 and Saturday 26 February for live music, cookery demonstrations, food and drink, street entertainment and more.

Gerry Cinnamon – 4 June

Scottish singer-songwriter Gerry Cinnamon kicks off a bumper summer of live music when he plays Singleton Park on Saturday 4 June.

Gerry’s revealing and honest songs naturally connect with his huge and devoted audience. The UK’s biggest independent artist, Gerry has become a stadium and arena-filling headliner. His show in Swansea will be one of only a handful of outdoor gigs at which fans can see Gerry in 2022.

Nile Rodgers and CHIC – 29 July

One of music’s greatest living legends, Nile Rodgers & CHIC will be performing their unrivalled back catalogue of hits at Singleton Park on Saturday 29 July.

The ultimate party band will have you dancing to the sounds of timeless songs like ‘Everybody Dance’, ‘Le Freak’, and ‘Good Times’, ensuring this gig will go down as one of Swansea’s most memorable summer parties.

Paul Weller – 31 July

Join Paul Weller and his band at Singleton Park on 31 July for a night of incredible live music, his only outdoor show in Wales.

Achieving fame with mod revival band The Jam and further success with The Style Council, Paul (aka The Mod Father) will be performing tracks from across his prolific career along with brilliant new material from his recent album, Fat Pop (Volume 1).

World Triathlon Para Series – 6 August

This year sees Swansea hosting a World Triathlon Para Series event for the first time, with athletes competing in the city ahead of the Paris 2024 Paralympic Games.

Saturday 6 August will see the world’s best para athletes descend on Swansea’s Prince of Wales Dock and you’ll be able to be part of this occasion by cheering on these elite athletes as part of their journey to Paris 2024.

IRONMAN 70.3 – 7 August

Gower’s stunning coastline and rural beauty together with Swansea’s historic dockside provide a dramatic setting for the inaugural IRONMAN 70.3 Swansea triathlon on Sunday 7 August.

Make sure you put the date in your diary and support the athletes by lining the route as they take in the best of rural Gower and urban Swansea. Starting at the Prince of Wales Dock, they will take on a 1.2-mile (1.9km) swim before cycling the circular 56-mile (90km) bike course, before running the two-lap 13.1-mile (21.1km) circuit from the city centre to Mumbles and back to the marina.

Admiral Swansea Bay 10K – 18 September

The Admiral Swansea Bay 10k returns on 18 September 2022, and takes place along the beautiful and iconic sweep of Swansea Bay!

Open to all abilities aged 15+, the course is a firm favourite with both experienced and first time runners, as the fast and flat course is an ideal introduction to road running, and perfect for improving your personal best.
