Oystermouth Castle, located in the heart of Mumbles, has a rich history dating back to the 12th century Norman conquest. Open daily from 11am – 5pm, except Tuesdays, visitors can explore its ancient walls and sweeping views of this iconic landmark.

7 and 8 August – Outdoor Theatre

In the idyllic setting of Oystermouth Castle, Outdoor Theatre returns this week for two spectacular performances:

Peter Pan – Wednesday 7 August at 2pm

Romeo and Juliet – Thursday 8 August at 7pm

26 August: Princes and Princesses Day

Step into a fairy-tale world as the castle comes alive with enchanting performances and magical surprises, dress you little ones in their best princess dress or prince costume for the ultimate afternoon in party attire. Normal admission charges apply.

Embark on a free journey through time and explore the castle’s hidden corners with our Cadw Open Day. Free entry with donations cheerfully accepted.

 27 October: Halloween Spooktacle

Prepare for a day of uproarious laughter, messy antics, and just a hint of spookiness. Ghosts and witches will bring mischievous fun to the castle, entertaining the bravest little adventurers. Kids and parents are encouraged to dress up to join in the Halloween festivities. Normal admission charges apply.

14 December: Carols at the Castle
