Open Day at Oystermouth Castle

On Saturday 14 September, for one day only, Oystermouth Castle will be hosting an open day where admission is FREE from 11am to 5pm. Come along, explore the castle, and have a great time!

Admiral Swansea Bay 10k

The Admiral Swansea Bay 10K returns on Sunday 15 September.

Whilst entries to take part in the race are now closed, you can still be part of the action on the day. From cheering on the runners throughout the course, to be becoming an event volunteer there’s plenty of ways for you to get involved.

Castle in the Sky

The incredible Castles in the Sky trail ends later this month on Sunday 15 September.

Castles in the Sky is a family-friendly public art event mixing Welsh Culture, art and history, as a series of Castle Sculptures. Designed by local artists and sponsored by local businesses, the trail will take you on an adventure of discovery across Swansea Bay. The trail is brought to you by Wales Air Ambulance.

Outdoor Attractions

Schools may have started back but there still time to enjoy Swansea’s outdoor attractions before they close for the season on Sunday 22 September!

Putt your way to victory with crazy golf, float away on the pedalos, make a splash at Blackpill Lido and soak in the Mumbles coastline as you hop onboard the Swansea Bay Rider Land Train.

What’s on at Brangwyn Hall

On Friday 20 September, it’s time to put on your cowboy boots as a slice of the west comes to Swansea. Hometown Hoedown will test your riding skills on the thrilling mechanical bull, have you kicking up your boots and learning some classic line dancing moves. Hometown Hoedown is sure to have you shouting YeeHaw all night long!

Swansea Arts Weekend

From 4 to 6 October, Swansea Arts Weekend is a festival of creative arts celebrating local and international artists, performers and creatives in South Wales.

With plenty of things to do for adults and families alike, the festival of arts will offer a diverse array of shows, interactive experiences and fun activities across many of Swansea’s attractions, art galleries, event spaces and entertainment venues.

We Are All Artists – a new event for 2024, We Are All Artists features art exhibitions, workshops, and creative activities across five Swansea galleries and performance venues

Olympic Fusion – the second new event for this year, Olympic Fusion is an immersive performance fusing breakdance, skateboarding, surfing, and climbing.

Swansea Fringe – a favourite event of locals and visitors to Swansea, the Fringe is back for 2024
