Are you looking for some festive fun this winter? Then look no further than Swansea’s Waterfront Winterland, the ultimate destination for family entertainment this Christmas! It’s not a Swansea Christmas without a little dancing on ice, so get your skates on and glide around Waterfront Winterland’s ice rink.
Hop on the Ice Jet if you’re seeking thrills. The only Ice Jet ride in Europe offers a unique and exhilarating ride experience. It’s full of fast paced fun, being able to reach speeds of over 50mph. The excitement doesn’t end there, as the Ice Jet is a full audio-visual ride experience. Home to over 5,000 running lights, including neon lights, lasers, lanterns, and tube lights, as well as 10 disco balls, the visual effects are spellbinding.

National Waterfront Museum at Christmas
There are a host of exciting Christmas events and activities to choose here at the National Waterfront Museum. Meet Father Christmas for a special story time, enjoy festive afternoon teas, explore craft markets or take part in festive elf workshops.
There are also seasonal offers and beautiful Welsh gifts and hampers for you to discover in the museum shops and cafes.

Christmas Market
The Christmas Market is now in full swing, so there’s no excuse not to get started on the Christmas shopping! The festive chalets lining Oxford Street and Whitewalls are open from Monday to Saturday from 9.30am to 5pm and on Sunday from 10.30am to 4.30pm.
You’ll find a variety of treats and unique gifts, from hand crafted Christmas decorations, fresh wreaths and ceramics, to liqueurs, crêpes, and fresh carvery rolls. Meanwhile, the cosy Bavarian Bar offers a great spot to indulge in a mulled wine or toast marshmallows around the fire pit.

Make a date in the diary to visit this Saturday, when the ‘Mistletoe and Markets’ event takes centre stage at the Caroler’s Cabin on Portland Street and at the Market Garden in Swansea Market. Live music, family entertainment and festive fun will be top priority from 11am to 4pm.
Taliesin Arts Centre at Christmas
Looking to get into the festive spirit or find ways to keep the kids entertained? Taliesin Arts Centre has you covered! This season, enjoy traditional Christmas favourites like the Royal Ballet and Opera’s enchanting performance of The Nutcracker, or enjoy the beloved Christmas film classic Elf on the big screen.

Free Bus Service
The hugely-popular free bus offer in the city is back every weekend in the countdown to Christmas, including Monday and Tuesday Christmas week, and then for 5 days in the week after Christmas.
The latest free offer will run every Saturday & Sunday in the run up to Christmas Day and will continue for a further five days from 27 - 31 December.
All journeys must start before 7pm.
