Start your festive countdown with BBC NOW’s ever-popular Christmas Celebrations, full of sparkle and seasonal cheer. A selection box of musical treats including Leroy Anderson’s Sleigh Ride; Troika from Lieutenant Kijé by Prokofiev; Trepak from The Nutcracker Suite by Tchaikovsky, plus the chance for a singalong medley of Christmas favourites for all the family!
Joining BBC NOW are world-renowned saxophonist Amy Dickson, who left audiences “transfixed” by her performances at BBC NOW’s Classical Playlist: LIVE concert in Brangwyn Hall earlier this year, as well as young people from Academi Berfformio Caerdydd who will perform a range of seasonal songs. BBC NOW also welcomes back professional actor, singer, voice-over artist and presenter Elin Llwyd, who will guide you through this evening of Christmas classics.
