This month our headline act is Anthony who’ll be supported by Noel James (star of Britain’s Got Talent), Niki McCretton: Comedian & Performer and Paul Scoble. The evening will be hosted by Mike Reed

Anthony King has been a fixture on the U.K. comedy scene for nearly 30 years playing top U.K. Clubs, Theatres, Arts Centres and at Festivals. His unique dead-pan style was honed in the late 80’s/early 90’s in London before the circuit expanded to what it is today. “The gags get better and better” THE GUARDIAN. “Outstanding is Anthony King, an elegantly mournful figure whose timing and delivery of a stream of one-liners and non-sequiteurs are masterly” THE SCOTSMAN.

Noel James’ credits are too numerous to list in full… His act is highly original; the guy who wrote it assured him of this. Surreal, bizarre, absurd, intelligent, and yet, somehow strangely attractive. No, seriously he is a very accessible act who generally goes down well anywhere. TV credits include Packing Them in (Channel 4), The Stand-Up Show (BBC) and Giamocs (S4C ) a Welsh language Show which Noel Co-wrote and starred in and was nominated for the Rose of Montreaux.

Niki McCretton is an accomplished comedian and has had many rave reviews, these include: “McCretton is a rare performer. Wonderful” Total Theatre; “McCretton’s absolute passion and conviction ultimately win the day” Victoria Times, Cananda; “Niki McCretton’s performance is undoubtledly captivating” The List; “It’s just a beautifully thought-through, very funny and resourceful piece of physical theatre that works for children and adults alike” Mary Brennan, The Herald.

Paul Scoble has been doing stand-up comedy since 2014, he gigs regularly, and runs and MC’s a comedy club in South Wales. Paul recently debuted his first hour show ‘Stand-up Idiot – A One Idiot Show’. Paul Mines a rich seam of material that is frank, funny and sometimes painfully honest. With sharp and intelligent writing, he will undoubtedly make you laugh but he will also make you think about the human condition.

It’s a ticket only event, so please pop in ASAP or contact us to avoid disappointment as we can sell-out quite quickly!
