A great double bill with the acclaimed Gypsy Jazz quartet making a return appearance at the Birthplace. Guest will be tapping their feet in the Thomas’ front parlour to musical interpretation of some of Dylan’s poems – in celebration of his birthday.
Geoff Haden from the Birthplace explains: “The 27th was a school day so the party for Dylan would have been on the weekend and as the Thomas family were chapel goers it would not have been on a Sunday so Saturday fits in perfectly.”
Welsh acting legends Boyd and Kirsten are famous for writing and appearing in TV classics ‘Satellite City’ and ‘High Hopes’ and as singers/songwriters and master storytellers. Come and get a taste of some true Welsh culture.
How can you resist a 1950s tea party? Jelly and blancmange, Spam and Marmite sandwiches and birthday cake with Smarties – just as Dylan’s daughter Aeronwy remembered.
