Photography students from The University Of Wales Trinity Saint David are exhibiting a diverse range of work at the Dynevor Building in Swansea from Friday 19 May to Saturday 17 June. Following this, the exhibition will travel to Copeland Gallery in London from Thursday 6 July to Sunday 9 July.
The exhibition – Overly Blueish – includes photos that explore the history of Northern Irelands culture through landscapes, themes of memory, identity and place in the context of Dylan Thomas’ experience of Swansea, urban landscapes that invite discussion concerning gay men’s cruising behaviours, and beauty standards and how they affect the self-confidence and mental health of individuals.
