In Bramwood we are creating a unique opportunity for families to enjoy a break with access to specialist equipment, in an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty.
Bramwood Holiday Bungalow is situated down a peaceful, quiet tree lined lane in the hamlet of Pitton on the slopes of Rhossili Downs.
There are many businesses who offer access to their amenities,
situated on the Gower, and further afield in Swansea.
One of the big changes that have taken place in Swansea is that the city can now boast they have opened six Changing Places.
We also have Surfability based in Caswell Bay, which featured on BBC Children in Need and they are offering disabled children and adults the opportunity to surf.
However there are many accessible beaches listed on the Swansea Bay website. Visit our links page for more info.
We are in our 4th year of operating an accessible holiday home based on Gower. We know we are offering a holiday home which is very much needed.
We have been graded 4 Stars with Visit Wales for 3rd year and they commented on our locally sourced Welcome basket. Sizzle is our dragon mascot and you get to take him home with you. Please take photos of Sizzle and share with social media.
Bramwood is in a superb position set down a lane off the main Rhossili road, so it is quiet and peaceful, but close enough to explore the Gower Peninsula.
One of the places that is a must visit is to drive to Rhossili and have a drink in the local tearooms, or go to the pub.
Or drive to Perriswood for an afternoon learning the skills of falconry and archery.
Our perspective on what we provide comes from the knowlege of travelling with our disabled son, so we have been there with no shower/commode or a sling which could hoist the whole family and after three days you want to go home.
