Clyne Farm Centre is a converted dairy farm overlooking the broad sweep of Swansea Bay. With 9 self-catering cottages, ranging from cosy two bedroom barns to interconnecting properties sleeping 16, you will be spoilt for choice.

There are 7 rustic cottages on the main farm site all located around a central courtyard; Byron’s Barn, The Dairy, Stables Cottage, Hayloft, The Old Schoolroom, Chapel Barn and Horseshoe Cottage. The cottages enjoy a mixture of coastal and woodland views. For those wanting peace and quiet you will feel like you are completely away from it all, yet you are only a few minutes’ drive from the City of Swansea, Mumbles Village, and the beautiful Gower Peninsula, Britain’s first Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty.

There are a further two more cottages a short drive away; The Keeper’s Cottage and Barn Owl Lodge. Located deep within Clyne Valley Country Park these cottages sleep 8 each, but can also interconnect to sleep 16 people. They offer quiet secluded isolation yet are only a couple of miles away from civilisation and the beaches of Gower.

The Clyne Estate has a rich history and in the 1800s many dignitaries were welcomed to enjoy hunting deer in the woods, often taking tea on the lawn of The Keeper's Cottage. It is said that these dignitaries included former British Prime Ministers Stanley Baldwin & Sir Winston Churchill, and also royalty including Prince Edward who later became King Edward VII, & his grandson Prince Edward who later briefly became King Edward the VIII.

In total 51 guests can be accommodated so the location is perfect not just for romantic weekend breaks for two, but also for larger family or group gatherings! At the main farm site children and adults can take part in a range of outdoor activities such as horse riding, archery, indoor climbing, and Challenge Valley ‘The Muddiest Assault Course in the World’!

Discounts for Thomas Cook Customers & Employees

Such upsetting news about the liquidation of Thomas Cook, who have been a vital player in the worldwide holiday market since 1841. It’s a blow for tourism, and our thoughts are with everyone affected, especially those who will lose their jobs and livelihoods. Here at Clyne Farm Centre we would like to try to help in a very small way. If your Thomas Cook holiday has been cancelled we will offer you a 30% discount on any of our self-catering cottages. We will also extend this offer to all Thomas Cook employees. We may not be able to offer you the sunbeds of the Costa Del Sol, or the casinos of Las Vegas, but we have the Gower Peninsula, Britain’s First Area of Natural Beauty on our doorstep with miles and miles of stunning beaches. We are very child (& dog) friendly, with horse riding stables on site plus indoor climbing, archery and Challenge Valley - the 'Muddiest Assault Course in the World'!! We will also offer you the very warmest of Welsh welcomes. Valid for arrivals from September 23rd to 1st December 2019 (includes half term). Check our availability here: http://bit.ly/CFCottages and then give us a call on 01792 403333 or hello@clynefarm.com to book. (We will need proof that your holiday within this period has been cancelled via Thomas Cook, or that you are a current employee of the company).
