The site makes an ideally base for walking, cycling, and fishing, exploring the nights sky (one of the UK's "Dark Sky" discovery sites) and of course, where mountain biking is king. Home of the world renowned whites level, Blade and Skyline, and over 100km of trails to explore. trails. The site can cater for twenty touring caravans with generous flat pitches and hook – ups for six caravans, toilets and shower, cafe and bike shop.

Other facilities within easy reach of the park include playing fields, 30 miles of family friendly cycle routes, which are part of the millennium cycle way, swimming pool, and village pubs.
