Lapis House is a beautiful 2,000 square foot seaside home, located on a third of an acre of lawns and gardens and overlooking the beach, in an exclusive family neighbourhood in Mumbles, the gateway to Gower.
We are situated just a few minutes’ walk from Mumbles village centre where you can enjoy a plethora of bars, restaurants, coffee shops and ice-cream parlours on your doorstep.
Lapis House is easily accessible via the M4 and via Mumbles Road, four miles west of Swansea. Families, couples and business stays are all welcome.
The front terrace, gardens and lawns overlook the beach and sea. To the rear is a private gated terrace with a gazebo and outdoor seating, making it a relaxing place to enjoy outdoor meals and drinks.
There are three first-floor bedrooms: A master bedroom with a king-size bed, ensuite and balcony with beautiful beach, sea and garden views, a bedroom with a king size bed, beach, sea and garden views and a bedroom with twin beds overlooking the rear terrace.
We have ample private off-road parking with space for up to four cars, a large lawn, mature gardens, two terraces and high-speed fibre broadband with unlimited free wifi. Perfect for multiple devices.
Mumbles is the gateway to the Gower Peninsula. It is a seaside village, just four miles west of Swansea. Whilst staying at Lapis House you will have easy access to Mumbles itself, to the Gower Peninsula with its beautiful beaches, and to the many coastal paths, country walks, cycling routes, golf courses and much more.
About our home
Lapis House is a unique family residence which we have recently refurbished, adding many new features specifically for our guests’ comfort and enjoyment.
Lapis House is perfectly located overlooking the beach in an exclusive, quiet residential cul-de-sac in Mumbles.
At the front, our outside space consists of large open lawns and gardens with beautiful views of the beach and sea, areas of mature trees and border planting, a front terrace and a pond.
To the rear of the property is the enclosed gated rear terrace containing a gazebo with a table and outdoor seating. The rear terrace can be accessed from the front gardens via terrace gate and the kitchen and dining area.
Our private driveway has parking for up to four cars.
The large lounge overlooks the front terrace and pond, with wonderful views of the lawn, mature gardens, sea and promenade.
We have a spacious kitchen and dining area, seating for six people, providing a comfortable family dining experience. A high chair is available on request.
There is a ground floor WC with wash basin and a washroom with laundry/drying facilities.
The kitchen has a ceramic electric hob, double oven, microwave, dishwasher, American style fridge freezer with ample storage, crockery, cutlery.
The large master/family bedroom has views of the lawn, garden, promenade and beach and an ensuite with shower, wash basin, toilet and bidet.
The second front bedroom enjoys a similar view. Our third bedroom overlooks the rear patio and has twin beds. Both have wash basins and share the main bathroom with choice of a shower and jacuzzi bath.
