Swansea Parks and Gardens

Take some time out in the fresh air - with so many parks, gardens and green spaces in Swansea Bay - you're never far from a relaxing walk in the park, a colourful flower display or a family fun day out. Here are just a few highlights:

Singleton Park (SA2 8PY):
A large park famous for its acres of space and variety of landscapes. Singleton has its own Botanical Gardens, lake, and hosts a number of high profile music events. It also has great facilities for families:
- Crazy Golf - open weekends and school holidays from 1st May 2021. (11am-5pm, £3.15 per person, £2.65 concession)
- Boating Lake with pedaloes (currently closed, planning to re-open during May - to be confirmed)
- Children's play area.

Clyne Gardens (SA3 5BA):
Internationally famous for its collections of Rhododendrons, Pieris and Enkianthus, this landscaped parkland has many interesting features including a folly (the Admiral's Tower) and Japanese bridge, as well as the tallest recorded Magnolia in Britain.

Cwmdonkin Park (SA2 0RA):
Situated in the Uplands area of the city, Cwmdonkin will always be associated with Dylan Thomas, who grew up overlooking the Park and played there as a boy. The Park has a children's play area, bowling green, tennis courts and café.

Southend Gardens (SA3 5TN):
A popular park in a seafront location in Mumbles, with colourful, formal bedding displays and a host of activities for families including:

- Children's play area and picnic tables
- Boules area and tennis court

These include Clyne Gardens, Singleton Botanical Gardens, Victoria Park, Cwmdonkin Park, Parc Llewelyn and Brynmill Park, these are a must-see on any tour to the region's gardens and green spaces.
