Pontardawe to Swansea
Following a mixture of riverside and canal towpaths, new purpose build sections and old railway lines, this route provides a green strip through the heart of the Swansea Valley. From the route, it is possible to see some of the valley’s industrial past, while at the same time the route showcases its regenerated present such as the liberty stadium. The ride ends in Swansea marina, where you can find many attractions. You can continue alongside Swansea beach on the promenade cycleway all the way to mumbles.
Pontardawe to Ystalyfera
This is a very gentle 3.5-mile ride following the riverbank, you find your way onto the old railway line. This takes you through woodland alongside the river before emerging on the edge of Ystalyfera.
Ystradgynlais to Coelbren
