The weather may be cold outside, but the welcome at the National Waterfront Museum is always warm!
The National Waterfront Museum tells the story of industry and innovation in Wales, now and over the last 300 years.
The Industrial Revolution in Wales had a tremendous effect on People, Communities and Lives as well as that of the rest of the World. Visitors can soak up the history with a breath-taking mix of old and new in the city’s rapidly developing maritime quarter.
Our vast industrial and maritime heritage is ready to explore via cutting-edge, interactive technology married with traditional displays.
The Museum is housed in an original listed warehouse linked to a ultra-modern slate and glass building.
The National Waterfront Museum puts you in charge of the experience, allowing you to delve as deeply into the exhibitions, displays and information as you want.
Join us on 3 December for the BIG Waterfront Christmas, where you can enjoy a special story time with Santa, meet some real donkeys and enjoy festive crafts. All FREE to enjoy!
You can also visit the museum on the 2 and 3 December for our magical elf workshops where each child will create their own sparkling snow globe to treasure. £6.50 per child.
For all you treasure hunters out there, our Winter Vintage and Makers Marker returns to the museum on 9 and 10 December. The perfect place to find a festive gift or treat.
Some events and activities are pre-bookable, so don’t miss out, get your tickets today: https://museum.wales/christmas/
