Collect together your pine cones and make sure they’re dust / dirt free.
Carefully paint the tips of your pine cones with different colour paints.
We also decorate some of ours with different colour dots.
You could do them the same colour, or mix up the colours. We like how the white paint looks like snow!
For fun pom pom pine cones, turn your pine cone upside down and carefully stick your mini pom poms to the top side of the tips.
Allow your pine cones to dry.
Once your festive pine cones are dry, you could either display them in a Christmas bowl.
Or glue on a loop of twine or string to turn them into hanging decorations for the tree!
