We welcome some of the world’s best paratriathletes to Swansea for the Volvo World Triathlon Para Series Swansea! As well as world class racing, there will also be live entertainment, food and drink and an event village to keep the family entertained, with entry to the event being free.

So whether you’re heading down to cheer friends or family on, or just to soak in the atmosphere and witness history and some the highest quality competitive para sport, check out our guide below so you can catch all of the action as it happens

Parking

A number of  car parks are available throughout the city – you can find more information and locations online here. When planning your trip, please be aware of the planned road closures that will be in place, and that traffic and the city centre will be busy on the day!

Event Village

The SA1 Waterfront will host the start, finish and transition area as well as the event village. With plenty to see and do, it is the perfect destination for those looking to make the most of their day at the Waterfront and watch all the action. On event day you will find:

  • Food and drink
  • Big Screen with all the action
  • Entertainment for all the family

British Triathlon Paratri Super Series – where to see the action

The British Triathlon Paratri Super Series consists of a 400m swim in the Prince of Wales Dock, 9km cycle around Fabian Way and Langdon Road, and a 2.3km run around SA1. You can check out the course map online here.

  • You’ll get great views of the swim around the Prince of Wales Dock / SA1 Waterfront area
  • You’ll get great views of the cycle along Langdon Road and Kings Road
  • You’ll get great views of the run along the SA1 Waterfront area
  • The finish line is on Kings Road

GO TRI Disability Aquathlon – where to see the action.

The GO TRI Disability Aquathlon consists of an up to 100m swim in the Prince of Wales Dock and a 1.3km run around SA1. You can check out the course map online here.

  • You’ll get great views of the swim and the run in the SA1 area around the Prince of Wales dock
  • The finish line is on Kings Road

World Triathlon Para Series – where to see the action

The Volvo 2022 World Triathlon Para Series Swansea consists of a 750m swim in the Prince of Wales Dock, a 19km cycle through Swansea Marina and along Oystermouth Road, and a 5km run along Fabian Way and Langdon Road. You can check out the course map online here.

  • You’ll get great views of the swim around the Prince of Wales Dock area / SA1 Waterfront area
  • You’ll get great views of the cycling through the Maritime Quarter, and Oystermouth Road between Guildhall Road South and Museum Park
  • You’ll get great views of the run along Langdon Road and Kings Road
  • The finish line is on Kings Road
