Described as ‘The supermodel of British beaches’ by the Independent, Rhossili’s awards cabinet is almost busrting at the seams! Encompassing a three mile stretch of golden sandy shore flanked by one of Gower’s most famous landmarks, Worm’s Head, its views are quite simply incomparible. Perfect for watersports (particularly surfing), families, picnics (voted one of the best picnic spots in the UK) and dogs (nominated as the UK’s No.1 Dog Friendly Beach by The Times), it’s a complete all-rounder!

Three Cliffs Bay

Eighth Best beach in the UK

Three Cliffs Bay offers a wilder experience for the more adventurous, with a spectacular shoreline of sand dunes, saltmarshes and limestone cliffs. A photogenic part of the Gower Coast Path, Three Cliffs Bay is also an ideal place to sit and have a bite while taking in the views, which was why it was voted the UK’s best picnic spot in 2017 by entertainment app Disneylife.
