Attic Gallery is holding a two-man show featuring two leading Welsh artists – Aneurin Jones and his son Meirion Jones.

Aneurin Jones has for many years been a leading painter of the rural scene in Wales. His outlook was moulded in the formative years spent in the upland farming community west of Brecon and his attachments to that way of life are central to his work.

Meirion Jones is also concerned with figuration and more specifically figures against the coastal light of West Wales. The Pembrokeshire and Gower coastline provides backdrops for the paintings and the work acquires an additional dimension when people weave through the compositions.

The exhibition runs from 11 June – 2 July 2016 at Attic Gallery, Pocketts Wharf, Maritime Quarter, Swansea SA1 3XL
