A Cackle with Cawl: An Evening with Boyd Clack, Kirsten Jones & Friends… at Clyne Farm Centre, Mayals, Swansea.

Join Welsh icons Boyd Clack and Kirsten Jones as they bring their unique brand of song and storytelling to life on top of the hill overlooking Mumbles! They’ll also be performing a Dylan Thomas classic story in-keeping with ‘The Last Bus to Porthcawl’ a song title from Boyd’s 2009 album ‘Welsh Bitter’ They will also be fielding questions about their lives on-screen and off as creators of cult 90s sitcoms ‘Satellite City’ and ‘High Hopes’ (which they co-wrote) as well as appearances in ‘Twin Town’ and Boyd’s his latest role in Kevin Allen’s vision of ‘Under Milk Wood’ with Rhys Ifans among many others! Kirsten will also be reading from ‘Kisses Sweeter Than Wine’ Boyd’s funny, honest and moving 2010 autobiography.

If that wasn’t enough there’ll also be poetry and storytelling from Mark Montinaro. Described as “Often silly, sometimes serious, always pretentious!” (His Mum). Mark’s work as a performer has taken him the West End to Covent Garden (Street Theatre) as well as National and International touring. He will be performing some of his own work in addition to the poetry and stories of Dylan Thomas.
