Celebrate 50 years (1966-2016) of the Gwalia Singers in their Golden Anniversary Concert at the Brangwyn Hall!

The concert will feature special guest stars Shân Cothi & Trystan Llyr Griffiths and compère Roy Noble on Saturday 18th June.

Shân Cothi

Welsh personality, Shân Cothi is a versatile performer in both classical and music theatre repertoire and is an experienced actress, television and radio presenter in Wales. Her career as a singer has spanned a range of music styles from opera, oratorio, music theatre, jazz, welsh song to contemporary music.

Trystan Llyr Griffiths

Welsh Tenor Trystan Llŷr Griffiths was named the ‘Voice of Wales’ in 2012 in a series televised by S4C. He is also one of the first recipients of a Study Award from the Bryn Terfel Foundation. Other prizes and awards include the 2014 Ian Stoutzker Prize, Bruce Millar Gulliver Singing Prize 2014 and many more.

Roy Noble OBE

Roy’s daily radio programme has attained high listening figures in Wales for a number of years, culminating in a national Sony Award. He has also won Regional Presenter of the Year in The Royal Television Society Awards and is constantly in demand as an after-dinner speaker or conference host.
