Lowri Evans is back with a new Welsh EP, “Beth am y Gwir?”, having spent the last few years co-working with Tom McRae on their 2021 album and with Sera on the Tapestri album in 2023.

The EP covers topics that are very close to Lowri’s heart – from discussing her mother and how the relationship between the two has evolved over time, the second home situation in her hometown, to not standing still and taking chances that come.

Described by BBC Radio 2’s Bob Harris as “one of his favourite artists”, Lowri is blessed with a voice full of expansive emotional power, with her songs taking their musical colours from a broad palette that includes Americana, Folk, Country, and Blues. She has toured the US and Europe, been featured on BBC radio playlists, and has performed at festivals such as Cambridge Folk, Underneath the Stars, Celtic Connections, Sesiwn Fawr Dolgellau, Green Man Festival, and Hay Festival.

Lowri will be on tour in April and May and performing with her trio.
