FREE EVENT – Hosted by Kilvey Woodland Volunteers – 11AM to 4PM at Crymlyn Bog Visitors Centre, Bon-y-maen, Swansea SA1 7HG
Join us at Crymlyn Bog Visitors Centre for a day of Crafting for all ages. You can forage chestnuts from the adjacent woodland and roast them on our open fire. Hot and cold drinks are available for free and we’ll be doing a marshmallow roast twice in the day too! You can have a go at Willow crafting, rope making, mask making, the ancient art of the pole lathe and have your face painted like any woodland creature! There are also signposted gentle walks through the bog from the centre if you fancy a relaxing wander.
Hot and cold drinks are available for free, Toilets are available indoors and we’ll be doing a marshmallow roast twice in the day too! As we are a totally voluntary organisation donations are welcome on the day.
