The Gower Gin Company Ltd

GŴYR Gin was launched in October 2017 after a year of intense development. We are now a firm favourite on Gower, across Wales and the UK. Our distinctive deep-blue and white striped bottle, with embossed copper writing, really stands out on the shelf. GŴYR is now made exclusively in our own Micro-Distillery in Port Eynon and can be found in quality retailers, hotels, bars and restaurants.

Our company ethos is to make craft, small batch, gins based on foraged botanicals found on the Gower Peninsula. We are also strong advocates of using the Welsh language to promote our gins and the Welsh gin industry. This is why we are one of only a small handful of producers with a fully bi-lingual bottle.

We have won three industry awards in 2018 i.e. London Spirits Competition, San Francisco World Spirits Competition and Guild of Fine Food Great Taste. We have recently launched ‘Pinwydd’ gin to fantastic reviews and are working on new projects for 2019

GŴYR - Gower Gin is made with 8 specially selected botanicals including wild foraged bronze and green fennel from the dunes of the South Gower coast. The aromatic fennel fronds are steeped in a pure grain spirit, along with juniper, angelica and the fresh zest of lemon and pink grapefruit to give the distinctive taste and aroma. Gower Gin comes in 3 sizes 70cl, 20cl, 5cl.

Pinwydd Gin is a London Dry style gin made with foraged Pine Tips from North Gower, orange, cranberry and pink peppercorn. Released in October 2017 the silvery pine-embossed bottle is already proving a firm favourite with gin bloggers and our customers.

We are passionate about collaborating with other great Welsh companies and have already developed Gower Gin and Pink Grapefruit Tonic Sorbet, Gower Gin Fudge and Gower Gin Botanical Candles.
