World Triathlon Para Series Swansea Spectator Information

We welcome some of the world’s best paratriathletes to Swansea for the World Triathlon Para Series Swansea! As well as world class racing, there will also be live entertainment, food and drink and an event village to keep the family entertained, with entry to the event being free.

So whether you’re heading down to cheer friends or family on, or just to soak in the atmosphere and witness history and some the highest quality competitive para sport, check out our guide below so you can catch all of the action as it happens

Event Village

The SA1 Waterfront will host the start, finish and transition area with the event village at its heart. With plenty to see and do, it is the perfect destination for those looking to make the most of their day at the Waterfront and watch all the action. On event day you will find:

• Big Screen with live footage, leaderboards and expert commentary
• Accessible seating area with benches, chairs and parasols
• Food and Drink
• Live music, face painting and other stands

Schedule

There are four key parts to the day:

• 08:00-10:00: British Paratri Super Series
• 10:00-11:00: Splash & Dash Disability Aquathlon followed by live band performance
• 12:30-17:45: World Triathlon Para Series elite races
• 17:45-18:45: elite medal ceremonies

Where to see the action

The swim takes place in the Prince of Wales Dock, the cycle around the SA1 Waterfront, and the run on King’s Road. You can check out the course maps online here with some tips on where to watch below:

• You’ll get great views of the swim on the south side of the Prince of Wales Dock
• You’ll get great views of the cycle by staying in the event village and watching the athletes come past on their laps of the bike course
• You’ll get great views of the run along Kings Road
• The finish line is adjacent to the event village
