We have plenty of festivities happening in November 2022 in Swansea, including our annual Christmas Parade, Waterfront Winterland, Fan Park, Christmas Markets and much more.

Swansea Sports Awards 2022

The Swansea Sports Awards is back! For the first time since the 2020 Awards, we are pleased to be able to celebrate our local sporting champions.  Swansea’s athletes, teams, volunteers and coaches have had an incredible year in 2022, and we look forward to recognising and honouring their achievements and outstanding contributions to sport at the Swansea Sports Awards 2022.

Waterfront Winterland
10 November 2022 – 8 January 2023, Museum Park

Waterfront Winterland returns as Museum Park once again transforms into a festive wonderland for the winter period, with its covered ice rink, open-air ice walk, festive funfair and extended Alpine Village.

Brand new for 2022, students and families can purchase super saver tickets, offering substantial savings on their Waterfront Winterland experience! Find out more and pre-book your Ice skating tickets online.

There will be skate penguins to help young skaters and accessible sessions with static lighting, lower sound levels and reduced capacity, ensuring festive fun for everyone.

Guests can enjoy the Alpine Bar, see Swansea from the sky with the 33m Observation Wheel, and have a go on the new funfair attractions, guaranteed to give you the thrill of your lives!

Swansea Christmas Parade
Sunday 20 November from 5pm, City Centre

Join Father Christmas for his traditional parade that heralds the start of the festive season in Swansea!

Setting off from Victoria Road at around 5pm, the free Swansea Council Christmas Parade will make its way through the City Centre to The Kingsway, with Santa switching on the Christmas Lights as he goes!

There’ll be a real carnival atmosphere full of light, music, and dancing, featuring professional performers, local community groups, and everyone’s favourite fairy tale and movie characters – yours to enjoy!

Fan Park Swansea
20 November – 18 December, Singleton Park

Wales’ BIGGEST World Cup Fan Park event is coming to Swansea!

Fan Park Swansea will be screening EVERY Men’s FIFA World Cup fixture in its heated, 3,000 seater Big Top situated in Singleton Park. Talented crafters, traditional traders and delicious street food vendors will be returning to the City Centre this festive season to offer you a brilliant selection of unique gifts, tempting treats and beautiful decorations. This year there will also be a programme of fantastic Christmas entertainment to get you in the festive spirit! Festivities will begin on November 25th

Beauty and the Beast
14 December 2022 – 15 January 2023, Swansea Grand Theatre
