The popular Ice Rink will be back and under cover – so you can take to the ice in all weathers!
Get your skates on and enjoy that festive feeling as you glide around whilst listening to Christmas music and admiring the twinkling lights.
Skating aids are available for young children and relaxed sessions with reduced lighting, no music and loud announcements will take place every Tuesday.
You can get all the fun of the fair at Waterfront Winterland too with a range of exciting rides to suit the whole family.
New for 2023: Hop on the Ice Jet if you’re seeking thrills. The only Ice Jet ride in Europe offers a unique and exhilarating ride experience. It’s full of fast paced fun, being able to reach speeds of over 50mph. The excitement doesn’t end there, as the Ice Jet is a full audio-visual ride experience. Home to over 5,000 running lights, including neon lights, lasers, lanterns, and tube lights, as well as 10 disco balls, the visual effects are spellbinding.
No visit to Waterfront Winterland would be complete without a spin on The Giant Wheel where you can take in the sights of the city at a gentler pace on the 33metre Wheel which also features a wheelchair accessible carriage.
If you feel a little peckish, make sure you visit the Alpine Village for festive favourites including German sausages, warming mulled wine or even toasted marshmallows. Grab a seat and enjoy the Alpine Village atmosphere with your friends and family.
