Gowerton, Three Crosses and Dunvant Walking Route

A picturesque walk through villages, fields and woodland. This walk starts and finishes in the village of Gowerton, close to the Gower Coast Path and loops through Three Crosses and Dunvant. This walk takes you through former mining areas which have now recovered into pretty woodlands, alongside a golf course and across rolling fields.

Walk Summary

Distance: 6 miles(10km).
Time:  Allow 3 – 4 hours.
Walk classification: Moderate
Be prepared: Wear appropriate clothing and footwear for the weather conditions.
Safety Information: There are two short sections of road to walk along, one of which has no pavement. The walk follows field edges and wooded areas which can be uneven and muddy, there are some steep sections and at least 20 stiles to cross.
Useful Information: There are pubs and shops in Gowerton, Three Crosses and Dunvant.
