Put on your best Noddy Holder voice and repeat after us… “It’s Christmaaaasssss!” Waterfront Winterland makes a triumphant return on Friday 16 November, and Father Christmas will be in town on Sunday 18 November at the official Swansea Christmas Light Switch On (which looks all set to be bigger, better and brighter than ever before)! Don’t worry, the fun and festivities don’t stop there – there will also be a Christmas Market and the opportunity to meet the big man himself at his City Centre Grotto! We ho, ho, hope you will join us!

Waterfront Winterland

Waterfront WinterlandOpen from Friday 16 November to Sunday 6 January, Waterfront Winterland is at the heart of Swansea Bay’s Christmas festivities. Ice skating on the Admiral Ice Rink and Children’s Rink, delicious food from Alpine dining cabins, a festive family funfair, and the mighty Big Wheel – it’s the perfect place to get in the Christmas spirit and have fun!

Christmas MarketFor something special this Christmas be sure to visit the many talented crafters, traders and street food vendors offering a variety of unique gifts, tempting treats and beautiful decorations at Swansea Christmas Market from Friday 16 November.


City Centre Grotto

Swansea City Centre GrottoChristmas wishes and festive cheer will be circulating along Portland Street and Castle Square from Saturday 16 November to Thursday 20 December courtesy of Santa’s Grotto (in association with Smyths Toys Superstores’)! Little ones will be greeted by Santa’s Elves before meeting the main man himself, and all visitors will receive a gift and have their photo taken with Santa – #SantaSelfie anyone?!
