The Council makes every effort to virus check the files available for downloading on this site. The Council cannot accept responsibility for any loss or damage which may happen from the use of downloaded material. We recommend that users re-check all downloaded material with their own virus check software.
Changes to the website

Visit Swansea Bay Partner Packages
Swansea Council (City & County of Swansea) work in partnership with local tourism related businesses in Swansea Bay by offering tourism marketing Partner Packages. The customer facing brand of Swansea Council’s destination marketing is Visit Swansea Bay, which is managed by Swansea Council’s Tourism Team within Cultural Services. The following Terms & Conditions apply.
2025-26 Terms & Conditions (1 Apr 2025 to 31 Mar 2026)
- For the period from 1 April 2025 to 31 March 2026 (inclusive), the City & County of Swansea are offering eligible businesses (see below) a free entry-level Partner Package, which includes a webpage promoting their business on visitswanseabay.com and one ‘Spotlight On’ homepage feature (for one week). Other marketing opportunities are available to purchase.
- All accommodation must be graded, awaiting grading (having applied) or approved by Visit Wales or the AA.
- All activity providers must be accredited (as appropriate) by the relevant National Governing Body or association, as recognised by Visit Wales or where no accreditation is available demonstrate that they comply with all relevant fire and safety regulations and by agreeing to the partnership with us you are confirming that you have the relevant public liability certification in place, with a minimum value of £5 million.
- All food & drink operators and local producers of food & drink items (including for mail order sales), must have scored a Food Hygiene Rating of between 3 and 5.
- It is the responsibility of the operator/business to apply to the relevant organisation for grading/accreditation.
- All operators listed on the site must have the necessary planning permissions in place to operate their business.
- Only accommodation operators, accredited activity providers (see above), attractions, food & drink operators (with a consumer facing business) and local food & drink producers, artists and craftworkers with a website and online mail order business, paying business rates or council tax within the Swansea Bay Marketing Area (including the City & County of Swansea and Neath Port Talbot County Borough Council) are eligible to become Visit Swansea Bay Partners.
- Payment for any additional purchased marketing opportunities will be made promptly on receipt of an invoice and within 30 days (details of how to pay online or by telephone can be found on the back of the invoice). Failure to pay will lead to removal from visitswanseabay.com and any future marketing activity (until such time as the outstanding invoice or payment has been discharged).
- The City and County of Swansea reserves the right to moderate content before publication (online or in print) and to reject unsuitable images or other promotional material.
- The City & County of Swansea reserve the right to edit any promotional copy to ensure it fits the available space. This includes Welsh translated material.
- By providing images as a Visit Swansea Bay Partner, a business confirms that they own the appropriate copyright and permissions to use them.
- Businesses also consent that any images provided as part of a Partner Package can be used for any promotional activity carried out by Visit Swansea Bay (City & County of Swansea), for example on social media or in media coverage.
- The prices applied to the additional marketing opportunities available to purchase are valid from 1 April 2025 to 31 March 2026 (inclusive).
- All entries must comply with the Consumer Protection from Unfair Trading Regulations 2008 and any other relevant statutes.
- The City and County of Swansea accepts no liability for errors, inaccuracies or omissions.
- The City and County of Swansea has, at its discretion, the absolute right to refuse any application.
- By applying to become a Visit Swansea Bay Partner, you confirm that you are the business owner or you have received permission from them to do so.
- By becoming a Visit Swansea Bay Partner, you are agreeing to receive relevant information from us in relation to your tourism business and Visit Swansea Bay Partner Package. Your contact details will not be passed on to a third party.

Events
- Only events taking place within the Swansea Bay Marketing Area (including City and County of Swansea and Neath Port Talbot County Borough Council) will be eligible to be published on visitswanseabay.com.
- The City and County of Swansea reserves the right to moderate content before publication (online or in print) and to reject unsuitable images or other promotional material.
- Only events deemed relevant to potential visitors to Swansea Bay by the City & County of Swansea will be eligible to be published on visitswanseabay.com.
- The City and County of Swansea has, at its discretion, the absolute right to refuse the publication of any event on visitswanseabay.com.
- All events are checked before being approved and published, and may be edited to fit in with the style of the site. We aim to make approved events live within 72 hours.
