Get Ready for Croeso 2026 A Big, Bright St David’s Day Celebration in Swansea City Centre! 28 February - 1 March
Croeso, in association with Shirgar Butter, is back - bigger, brighter, and ready to fill Swansea city centre with music, food, culture, and creativity.
The festival runs from Saturday 28 February to Sunday 1 March, along Oxford Street, Portland Street and Princess Way.
This completely free event features an exciting programme brimming with live music, cookery demonstrations, arts and culture, workshops, talks from sports and television personalities, and much more!
All Day Main Stage Entertainment

From 10am until 6pm, Croeso fills the main stage with live performances. Expect Welsh choirs, lively local bands, and exceptional Welsh talent, including the big sounds of the Llareggub Brass Band, a Welsh-language story time session with Lowri Siôn, and north Walian rapper Sage Todz. Children’s activity on the entertainment stage is supported by The Early Years Commissioning Team.

Welsh flavours take centre stage, with live cooking demonstrations from celebrated Welsh chefs. Enjoy inspiring sessions from GBBO 2024 winner Georgie Grasso, Jonathan Woolway from The Shed - recently named in the Top 100 UK Restaurants, and Celebrity MasterChef finalist Alun Wyn Jones, with mouth‑watering aromas filling the city centre throughout the day.

Don’t Miss the St David’s Day Parade
One of the weekend’s most joyful moments, a colourful parade filling the streets with Welsh flags, costumes, music and community spirit. The parade starts at the Main Stage at 2pm on March 1 (St David’s Day), dress up and join in!
Markets Full of Welsh Makers
Visit the talented crafters and Welsh traders offering everything from locally sourced sea glass jewellery to bilingual book sellers. Browse the festival food market with Welsh cheeses, cakes and artisan chutneys, or grab a bite from one of the delicious street food traders.
A Warm, Bilingual Welcome
Croeso embraces the Welsh language - expect plenty of opportunities to try out a “Shwmae!” with Lifelong Learning tutors, friendly performers and stallholders throughout the weekend.
