Call out for Swansea based film makers for ‘Olympic Fusion’ event.
OLYMPIC FUSION is an event that will bring together lour communities associated with the newest additions to the Olympic games – skaters, surfers, climbers and breakers. Drawing influence from multiple avenues, the Matsena brothers will implement their unique multidisciplinary approach to connect these four distinctive sports through the power of rhythm and dance to create an intense and stimulating performance on Saturday 5th October 2024. As part of the event, we are creating a series of short creative documentaries celebrating these sports. Our creative lead for the films is looking to collaborate with up to four Swansea based film makers, each specialised in one or more of the featured sports. The filmmakers would work on capturing dynamic action sequences to include in the respective documentary films, we may also consider licensing existing footage. This opportunity is open to filmmakers at any stage or their career as we can offer guidance and direction. The main requirement is these individuals have a passion for capturing their chosen sport in an interesting and dynamic way.
