Croeso - Celebrate in Swansea
Croeso, Swansea’s vibrant celebration of all things Welsh returns to the city centre this St David’s Day weekend!
This year's festival in association with Shirgar will showcase the best in local Welsh culture including:

Cookery demonstrations from leading Welsh chefs such as Hang Fire BBQ specialists and TV personalities Sam & Shauna and Head Chef James Freeman from the Michelin-starred Beach House Oxwich.

Live Music featuring performances from North Walian rapper Sage Todz, the Llareggub Brass Band and Swansea’s own King Goon.

New for 2026 – the Pabell Pawb a Phopeth! Featuring everything from poetry to cutting-edge Welsh fashion straight from London fashion week. Plus, a live Q&A (with a cunning twist) with Welsh contestants from BBC’s The Traitors.

Nightworks x Croeso
Croeso x Nightworks is a vibrant programme of bilingual, free-entry gigs across the city’s grassroots music venues this St David’s Day weekend.
With a jam-packed line-up spanning genres from white-knuckled post-punk to melodic folk and theatrical art-pop, this year's headliners include:

Enjoy something new at the Glynn Vivian!
Looking for a new experience? Then head to the Glynn Vivian Art Gallery on 12 February for a night of experimental live music, sound, and performance as Hotel Et Al unveil brand‑new work inspired by the gallery’s latest exhibitions.
During the evening, Hotel Et Al, the visionary partnership of Richard James (Gorky’s Zygotic Mynci) and Angharad Van Rijswijk, will debut an electrifying new composition inspired by Kameelah Janan Rasheed’s acclaimed Artes Mundi 11 exhibition and the bold, genre‑defying show Linder: Danger Came Smiling currently at the gallery.
They’ll be joined by special guests Anushiye Yarnell, an interdisciplinary performance artist known for immersive, movement-led works, and Rhodri Davies, an acclaimed harpist and experimental composer.
This free event is supported by Swansea Council, Menter Iaith Abertawe and NAWR.
The Swansea Bay 10k returns on September 20

Gŵyl Tawe 2026, Swansea’s big weekend of Welsh-language culture is back!
Gŵyl Tawe returns to Swansea on 5 & 6 June with its biggest weekend of Welsh music, art, and community events.
Kicking things off on Friday night at The Bunkhouse will be The Joy Formidable, with an electrifying headline set. They’re joined by Breichiau Hir, Pat Morgan, and Crinc for an unmissable opening gig
On Saturday, the National Waterfront Museum hosts a full day of free entertainment, headlined by the acclaimed Gwenno, with performances from Melin Melyn, Mellt, Candelas, Cerys Hafana, Carwyn Ellis & Rio 18, and more across indoor and outdoor stages.
This year also introduces exciting new community elements, including youth workshops, a new community choir led by Ify Iwobi, and a brand‑new stage for local schools and emerging artists.

Sport & Health Half Term Camp
The Sport & Health Us Girls camp at Penlan LC is an action-packed day bursting with energy and excitement. Girls can enjoy a variety of activities from gymnastics and dodgeball to swimming and multi-sports!
When: 10AM – 3PM, Tuesday 17 Feb.
Where: Penlan Leisure Centre.
