Swansea Victorian Christmas

Step back in time at the Swansea Victorian Christmas Fayre! For four days from Thursday 20 November, the city centre is transformed into a charming Victorian market, hosted by costumed shopkeepers and street performers, where shoppers can browse artisan gifts and savour festive delicacies, all to the tune of carol singers and live musicians.

Highlights: 
•    Browse an array of artisan gifts, crafts and festive treats
•    Enjoy mulled wine, roasted chestnuts, and delicious street food
•    Be entertained by live music, carol singers, and Victorian street performers

Fire & Ice Festival

Not to be missed, a new and exciting winter event taking over the city centre in a blaze of fire and glistening ice. Be enthralled by fire and ice themed performances, capture magical moments in the giant snow globe, or get creative with interactive ice carving.
That’s not all, because hidden across the city next to some iconic landmarks will be nine unique ice-sculptures to discover. Can you find them all?

Get ready to bop while you shop to an exciting programme of live entertainment across two vibrant stages: the Caroller’s Cabin sponsored by Costa Coffee, and the Market Garden at the heart of Swansea Market. Be swept away by the glamorous harmonies and festive rhythms, or thrill your little ones with a magic show and a sweet treat.

  • Live music from 1950s favourites The Bluebird Belles, toe-tapping rhythms of Hot Gin Swing, the lively sounds of Eine Kleine Oompah, and more!

Swansea’s favourite shopping tradition just got even more festive! In the cosy chalets along Oxford Street and Portland Street, you can visit the talented crafters and traditional traders, pick out the perfect decoration for your tree, or find the perfect gift for someone special. Alongside familiar faces you’ll find fantastic new traders at the Merry Marquee on the 5 – 7 December and 12 – 14 December.

Warm up with a mulled wine from the Alpine Bar or grab a bite from one of the delicious street food traders whilst you jingle along with the performers at the Caroller’s Cabin, proudly sponsored by Costa Coffee.
