The time has arrived!
This weekend sees Swansea Pride bring some top tunes and a carnival atmosphere to the city.

While it’s moved to a new venue – now the Guildhall, due to the ground at Museum Park not yet having recovered from weeks of heavy rain – this year promises to be an event to remember.

The free festival, which is supported by Swansea Council, starts at 12 noon and runs until 7pm in the car park and grounds at the front of the Guildhall and the nearby Brangwyn Hall (the community area in the Brangwyn closes at 5pm). The Mini-Pride will still take place on Sunday 30th April at the National Waterfront Museum.

Prior to this, the annual parade will take place, starting out from Wind Street at 11am and then making its way through the city centre to the Guildhall via Caer St, St Marys Square, Oxford St, Dillwyn St, St Helens Road and St Helens Crescent.

Rolling road closures will be in place and motorists are advised to take alternative routes if possible during the late morning.

Although the location of Swansea Pride 2023 has changed, the fun-packed event will still be the same with live music, food, drink, trade stands and community zones.

Among the fantastic acts set to take to the stage this year are Alex Taylor, Jason Curvis, Russell Jones Jr, Starstruck: The Ultimate Years and Years Tribute Show, Wyburn and Wayne, Amrick Channa and Miss Ivory Fierce.

Main stage hosts include CC Swan, Dr Bev, Diana D, Gypsy Divine, Kara Von-Site, Lambrini Rampage, Lucy Lou and Ruby Slippers.

The fun doesn’t stop at 7pm – the Swansea Pride official after party will be at Hogarths with an extra special guest performance not to be missed.

Don’t forget there is also the Pride shop in the Quadrant – open until the event takes place – for all your Pride essentials.
