Getting Around Swansea Bay

Exploring by Car

A good network of local roads enables you to get quickly to the many attractions in Swansea Bay, Mumbles and Gower.

Car Parking (generally charged) is available at most locations.

Exploring by Bus

An extensive network of local buses serves the City of Swansea, Mumbles, Gower, Neath, Port Talbot and Valleys.

Explore Wales Pass

These tickets give you unlimited access to trains and most local buses throughout Wales including Swansea Bay. They are valid for four days travel within an 8 day period to anywhere in Wales by train and on selected bus operators – First Cymru Buses, Cardiff Bus, Arriva Bus Wales and Stagecoach Bus.

Explore South Wales Pass

These tickets give you unlimited access to trains and most local buses throughout South Wales including Swansea Bay. They are valid for four days travel within an 8 day period to anywhere in Wales by train and on selected bus operators (see above).

Gower Explorer

Frequent bus services from Swansea to south and north Gower including Rhossili run from Mondays to Saturdays. A comprehensive Sunday and Bank Holiday Monday service will run between 21st April and 8th September 2019

Cymru Clipper

A network of express bus services running from Swansea, Neath and Port Talbot gives easy and inexpensive travel to the many visitor attractions around Swansea Bay including Margam Country Park, the Vale of Neath, the Swansea Valley and Pontarddulais.
