Swansea Council Fireworks Display – Tuesday 5 November, St Helen’s
Have a wicked evening at the Swansea Council Fireworks Display at St. Helen's Ground on 5 November, with entertainment starting at 5.30pm before the main firework display at 7pm. The Musicals After Dark themed evening will bring together your favourite songs from the West End with a supercalifragilisticexpialidocious firework display!

Swansea Sports Awards 2024 in association with Freedom Leisure
Nominations are now open for the 2024 Swansea Sports Awards, in association with Freedom Leisure.
The awards, which are celebrating its 25th year, will recognise individuals, teams and clubs across 15 categories, including inspiring young person, volunteer, community coach and performance coach.
Other categories include junior sportsman, junior sportswoman, school team, junior club or team, and senior club or team. Awards will also be presented for getting Swansea active, to the sportsperson of the year with a disability, and to the sportsperson of the year. Nominate online today!
Swansea Remembers – Saturday 11 November from 10:30am, St David’s Place
At the 11th hour of the 11th day of the 11th month we shall remember.
On this day people across the nation pause to reflect on the sacrifices made by our brave servicemen and servicewomen.
This year, why not join us at St Davids Place (near to the former Iceland shop) between 10.30am and 12noon where Swansea commemorates Armistice Day.
The service will commence at around 10.50am with the silence being at 11am, with Mal Pope as compère.
Waterfront Winterland – 15 November 2024 – 4 January 2025, Museum Park
Swansea’s magical winter experience
Museum Park will be transformed into Waterfront Winterland for the 2024 festive period with everyone’s favourite attractions. The festive fun returns, and it’s not a Swansea Christmas without a little dancing on ice. Open from 15 November – 4 January, enjoy the festive atmosphere and indulge in seasonal treats while exploring the enchanting Waterfront Wonderland.
Swansea Christmas Parade – Sunday 17 November from 5pm, City Centre
Get ready for marching bands, magical floats, festive film characters, Christmas inflatables and of course Santa and his sleigh, as they will all be making an appearance at this year’s Swansea Christmas Parade and Lights Switch On on Sunday 17 November from 5pm!
New for this year, a breath-taking sleigh carved entirely from ice will be unveiled on the day of the parade. This spectacular centrepiece will offer visitors the chance to step inside for a photo, turning the moment into a truly unforgettable experience for families - a perfect snapshot to treasure the festive spirit.
Swansea Christmas Market – Saturday 23 November – Sunday 22 December, City Centre
Talented crafters, traditional traders, and delicious street food vendors return to Swansea’s Christmas Market from 23 November to 22 December. Festive chalets along Oxford Street and Portland Street will be offering unique gifts, tempting treats and beautiful decorations.
