Silent Night, Raging Eve at Volcano Theatre

This isn’t your typical Christmas show…

Silent Night, Raging Eve is a comedic and incredibly relatable production coming to Volcano Theatre from 25 November to 20 December. Written and performed by the brilliant Joanna Simpkins, the show invites you to Eve’s slightly chaotic Christmas party, full of festive joy and the mounting pressure to have your life together.

As the night unfolds, Eve explores what it means to grow older in a world obsessed with youth and beauty, all while trying to get through the festive season with a smile on her face. It’s full of laughs, unexpected moments, and will be a refreshing take on the feelings so many of us navigate.

Swansea Sports Awards

The Swansea Sports Awards, proudly presented in partnership with Freedom Leisure, returns in 2026 to shine a spotlight on the incredible talent, dedication, and passion of our local sports heroes.

From inspiring individuals to triumphing teams and trailblazing clubs, we’ll be celebrating all their achievements across 15 categories at the annual Swansea Sports Awards ceremony, to take place at the Brangwyn Hall on Thursday 2 April 2026.

Nominations open 3 November and close 31 December, so don’t miss your chance to honour those who make Swansea proud, nominate today!

The shortlist of Swansea Sports Awards nominees will be announced in January, when tickets to the prizegiving ceremony will go on sale. Come on Swansea, let’s celebrate sporting excellence together!

Christmas Parade

SAVE THE DATE! Swansea Christmas Parade and Light Switch On returns on Sunday 23 November from 5pm! Cheer and wave to Santa on a new route for 2025 (to be announced on Nov 6). There’ll be music, lights, dancers and more joining Mr and Mrs Claus to welcome in the festive season. This completely free event is brought to you by Swansea Council.

Before the parade lights up the evening, soak up the seasonal charm at the Victorian Market in the City Centre and enjoy the festive fun at Waterfront Winterland on Museum Park.
