This vibrant spectacle will unite four communities associated with the newest Olympic sports—skateboarding, surfing, climbing, and breakdancing—in a thrilling celebration of movement and rhythm.
Interactive Public Activities: From 1pm to 2pm, and 4pm to 5pm, the public is invited to engage in exciting activities inspired by the event’s themes. Whether you’re a skater, surfer, climber, or breaker, there will be opportunities for everyone to get involved and experience the fusion of dance and sport firsthand.
Immersive Performance: The main event will take place from 2pm to 4pm, where four raised platform stages will create an immersive environment in Swansea’s Museum Park and culminate in a ‘holi – festival of colours’ inspired party. The Matsena Brothers and their talented ensemble will take you on a journey, blending the essence of these four sports through the power of dance, rhythm, and artistic expression.
Cultural Bridging: Reflecting the Matsena Brothers’ Afrocentric and Welsh heritage, the performance will connect diverse cultures and artistic disciplines, creating a powerful narrative that resonates with all.
